CARE MARKET TO GROW BY UP TO 40% |
- According to forecasts from the Office of national Statistics, the 65 plus population is projected to grow by 40% over the next 20 years in the UK.
Any Industry dependent on our ageing population is going to experience a huge boom if it is to meet the increasing demands. This means that the care market will grow rapidly in size and supplies of food, beverage and equipment will increase dramatically.
Together, the National Association of Care Catering’s membership represent a huge part of the care catering market with responsibility for over 40,000 day-care establishments and 30,000 residential and nursing homes with a buying power of over 1 billion pounds. Between them, members produce 597 million meals a year and a further 40 million meals-on-wheels a year. SECURE YOUR SHARE OF THIS GROWING MARKET! Support the National Association of Care Catering by exhibiting at the NACC Conference & Exhibition, 11-12th September 2008, being held at the The Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
