The NACC makes a number of national awards each year, and the 2008 awards will be presented at Gala Dinner Awards evening held during the National Conference on the 11th September 2008.
The awards included:
The National Meals on Wheels Marketing Award Sponsored by apetito
This award is presented to the authority, business or individual that has demonstrated the most effective marketing campaign for Meals on Wheels Week during the previous year. The judging panel evaluate on the following criteria: innovation, originality and effectiveness.
The National Achievement Award Sponsored by WRVS
This award is presented to the individual who has contributed to Social Services catering or any service connected to the industry. The judges will not only look for an individual who is successful in their workplace but who is also prepared to 'go the extra mile'. Someone who will have given added value to the NACC through their contribution to the association or membership.
The NACC Regional Award Sponsored by E & R Moffat Ltd
This award is presented to the Region that has achieved the most in the following areas: an interesting and innovative programme of events, recruitment of new members and success of regional activities.

The ward will be presented to a day or residential care establishment that serves meals which deliver choice, meets full dietrary, cultural and therapeutic needs an ensures that the eating environment and the standards provided improve the eating experience.
The National Chair's Award
The National Chair presents this award to a member with outstanding qualities or attributes that have benefited the NACC.
