Care Catering in the North of England
Welcome to the North Region!
Our main role is to organise our North Region Seminars where members and non-members are equally welcome. We usually have three seminars each year, Spring, Summer and Winter and we try to move them around our region making it easy for everyone to attend. Details of up-coming seminars are on The NACC website.
We create events that are informative and entertaining, and we always provide opportunities for networking and personal development. Our focus for all delegates is to ensure they feel welcomed, supported, involved, and inspired.
We are very proud of our reputation for being a friendly and inclusive organisation, so please do come along to our events.
Meet your North Regional Committee:
Simon Lawrence, Avery Healthcare
Chair
With over 40 years culinary experience Simon is thrilled to be supporting the NACC in the North .
Simon currently works as Director of Culinary and Hospitality for Avery Healthcare; the culinary and hospitality team offer culinary support and guidance to 107 care homes across the country.
Martin Dore, Bidfood
Deputy Chair
Martin Dore is Senior National Account Manager at Bidfood with over 35 years’ experience in the foodservice industry, specialising in the Healthcare sector. He is passionate about driving innovation and collaboration in catering for care and community.
Catherine Clarke, Advance Catering
Cat is the Head of Care at Advance Group, bringing over five years’ experience in the healthcare sector. She joined Advance Group 2.5 years ago as an Account Manager before progressing to her current role in early 2025.
Cat oversees a portfolio of more than 1,000 healthcare sites, where Advance Group provides projects, products, planned and reactive maintenance, and equipment sourcing services. Her role focuses on ensuring continuity of service delivery, maintaining high performance standards, and driving growth within the healthcare sector.
