Care Catering in the South East of UK

The South East Region has such a wide and diverse geographical care home market, covering all aspects of Social Care, not just Elderly Care, but Mental Health; Young Adults & Retirement Villages –all of which, the South East Committee try to cater for in their three planned seminars.

With the demographic changes happening currently and the planned increase in the number of people who will be entering care, we have to remain ahead of the game with regards to the information we provide our members. This could range from nutritional guidelines; recruitment advice and case studies from care caterers who have achieved outstanding results.

We, as the committee work hard to ensure out meetings are a balance of supplier and sector-led discussions & presentations. Our last meeting of the year is combined with our now legendary Christmas Celebrations, which give all our members the chance to celebrate success with their teams and colleagues.

The Patients Association Patient Survey

The Patients Association is an independent charity with a remit covering all health and care issues; they are not condition specific and speak for all patients, who they define as anyone living with a health or care need.

The Patients Association are aquiring information through a survey that asks patients about their experience of accessing healthcare services, especially where they may have struggled.

SPOOKTACULAR BALL RETURNS RAISING £16,500 HARROGATE NEIGHBOURS

On Friday 29^th October, the annual Harrogate Neighbours charity ball returned with a Halloween-inspired theme, which raised a hair-raising £16,500 for the not-for-profit organisation.
