Care Catering in the South West of England

The South West is a beautiful part of the country with a real range of care operations. The focus for the South West committee will be engagement – ensuring that we reach existing members and communicate the benefits of the NACC to new members. Our regional meetings will be designed to be of value and worthy of a day out of providers and suppliers’ busy operations!

Get to know the South West Committee Members:

Rachael Venditti, allmanhall
Chair

As a Registered Nutritionist with a catering background, Rachael feels strongly about the quality and nutritional quality of care catering. The NACC provides valuable support to its members, and she is looking forward to bringing her passion for catering, along with an understanding of nutrition and supply chain to the board.

Josh Hawker, Able Care Homes
Deputy Chair

Josh has joined the NACC to be able to bring a smaller provider’s perspective on some of the challenges facing us all in care catering. He is a firm believer in bringing collaboration to our famously disjointed sector, and hope to be able to bring greater skills sharing amongst the care homes’ departments across the South West.

Adriano Carvalho, Newbury Grove Care Home - Care UK
Secretary

Adriano has joined the NACC board because he wants to help to improve the resident's life in care homes and attracting more people to work in the sector. He is a head chef with 15 years of experience in private care homes. Adriano has a good knowledge of elderly nutrition, dysphagia and how to build strong teams. During his career he has received several awards in the care sector.
