Last week, the UK Government published its 10-year National Cancer Plan, a strategy covering cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, care and research.
Sophie's Legacy, has spent over 4 years campaigning to ensure childhood cancer is no longer overlooked in national policy. A key part of the plan is guaranteeing access to high-quality hospital food for children and young people with cancer, because nutritious food is important to health and recovery - and tasty food contributes to the experience of care.
