The National Association of Care Catering (NACC) was honoured to attend a prestigious reception hosted by Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle, alongside 300 invited guests from across the United Kingdom.
The reception was held to thank and recognise those who dedicate their lives to caring for others, celebrating the vital contribution of individuals and organisations working within the care sector.
Representing the NACC at the evening reception were myself, Neel Radia, National Chair; Judith Buttle, National Secretary; Ilana Thomaz, NACC Care Chef of the Year 2025; and Lisa Turnbull of Grove Park Care Home, winner of the NACC Care Establishment Award 2025.
Other distinguished guests included The Duchess of Edinburgh, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
We are incredibly honoured to have been invited by Their Majesties the King and Queen in recognition of the vital role our members play within the care sector. This is a wonderful acknowledgement of all caterers working in care and the person-centred nutritional support you provide to residents and service users every day.
The NACC will continue to champion excellence in care catering, promoting the highest standards in nutrition and hydration while recognising the essential role of food and dining in delivering person-centred care.
Thank you for your continued dedication, professionalism and commitment to raising standards across our sector.
