Hampshire County Council invites capable providers to tender for the provision of a Hampshire-wide Meals on Wheels service.
The Meals on Wheels service will deliver a choice of suitable, nutritious, hot lunchtime meals to adults who are at risk of malnutrition and live within Hampshire County Council’s geographical jurisdiction. The service will be available 365 days a year. Afternoon tea will also be delivered if requested. A health and well-being check will be carried out during every delivery.
All associated tender documentation is available now and all organisations interested in being considered for this opportunity will be required to register with (free of charge) and apply through Hampshire County Council’s online tendering portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire.
The deadline to submit your application is noon on 20th April 2018.
Anticipated initial contract duration will be 1st October 2018 to 30th September 2021 with options to extend for a period or periods not exceeding two years, offering a potential total contract term of 5 years.
It is estimated (but this does not constitute a commitment to any volume levels or monetary value under this contract) that the contract value over 5 years could be up to £13.8m (excl. VAT).
