In memory of John Grover
It is with great sadness that we share the news that NACC member and former NACC Care Chef of the Year champion, John Grover, passed away in December.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.
Chef and Hospitality Manager at Harrogate Neighbours, Stephen Wilkins has been busy volunteering in the kitchen at the Resurrected Bites Café the Methodist Church on Gracious Street, Knaresborough as part of a long-term relationship between the two non-for-profit organisations.
Neel Radia, immediate past chair of the National Association of Care Catering (NACC) and current Meals on Meals lead, has joined Bidfood as National Account Manager in Healthcare.
The Patients Association is an independent charity with a remit covering all health and care issues; they are not condition specific and speak for all patients, who they define as anyone living with a health or care need.
The Patients Association are aquiring information through a survey that asks patients about their experience of accessing healthcare services, especially where they may have struggled.

On Friday 29th October, the annual Harrogate Neighbours charity ball returned with a Halloween-inspired theme, which raised a hair-raising £16,500 for the not-for-profit organisation.
Meals on Wheels Week returns on 1st – 5th November 2021. The award-winning national awareness event, organised by the National Association of Care Catering (NACC), raises awareness of and celebrates Meals on Wheels services across the country and the vital role they play in supporting older and vulnerable people living in our communities.
